About Me

I'm Dr. Anne Su and I'm a licensed psychologist in the state of Texas. I grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and fell in love with studying the brain! I received my undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, and my master's and doctorate of Clinical Psychology from George Washington University.

I work with children, adolescents, and young adults with neurological differences, mood and anxiety disorders, developmental disorders, ADHD, learning disorders, and adjustment-related concerns. My approach is individualized, developmentally informed, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I work with the wonderful people at Empire Behavioral Health, schools, and other healthcare professionals to help identify patterns, foster insight, and promote healthier skills for growth and change.

As part of my practice, I conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational evaluations tailored to each individual’s referral needs. Areas of assessment include developmental disorders (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder), mood and behavioral disorders (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD), learning disabilities, special education needs, gifted and talented identification, twice-exceptional (2E) presentations, and personality functioning.

I also provide private school entrance testing, including administration of the WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, and WAIS-IV.

I have a particular interest in working with individuals and families within the Asian and Asian-American diaspora, including concerns related to racial and cultural identity, minority stress, acculturation, intergenerational family dynamics, and cultural values
