About Me
I am a Houston native, educated and trained both in Houston and the Northeast. I returned to Houston a few years ago, after working for several years in private practice in New York City. I am board-certified in both General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, and I have completed additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. Academically, my interests include psychiatric education and the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders. I have published multiple papers and book chapters on these topics.
My practice at Empire Behavioral Health focuses on seeing adults for psychotherapy and combined treatment, which integrates both psychotherapy and medication management. I strive to develop a comprehensive, thoughtful treatment plan in close collaboration with patients, and support them in reaching their personal goals and leading full, satisfying lives.
