About Me
I’m originally from Houston and completed my education and training in both Houston and the Northeast. After several years of private practice in New York City, I returned home to Houston to continue my clinical work and reconnect with the local community.
I am double board-certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, with additional training in psychodynamic psychotherapy. My academic interests include psychiatric education and the treatment of obsessive-compulsive and anxiety disorders, and I have authored multiple papers and book chapters on these subjects.
At Empire Behavioral Health, I specialize in psychotherapy and integrated treatment for both children and adults, thoughtfully combining talk therapy with medication management when appropriate. I partner closely with each patient and their family to create personalized treatment plans that align with their goals to support lasting emotional well-being and a meaningful, fulfilling life.
