About Me

Dr. Sana Younus is a double board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the care of children, adolescents, and adults. She completed both her General Psychiatry residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, where she earned multiple awards recognizing her clinical excellence, leadership, and dedication to patient care.

Dr. Younus provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and personalized treatment for a broad range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders and disordered eating concerns, and emotional challenges associated with major life transitions.

She believes that effective psychiatric care begins with developing a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, compassion, and collaboration. Taking the time to understand each patient's unique experiences, strengths, and goals, Dr. Younus develops individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that may incorporate medication management, psychotherapy, and close coordination with therapists, primary care physicians, schools, and other healthcare professionals when appropriate.

Committed to providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed, and inclusive care, Dr. Younus strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment where patients and families feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their mental health journey.
